Role and Responsibilities:
The Concierge Advocate blends deep expertise in private insurance, Medicare, and ACA markets with Emry’s signature high touch advocacy model. Broker Advocates advise clients on optimal insurance coverage and act as the central point of contact for all insurance related decision support. Concierge Broker Advocates help clients secure life changing financial and health outcomes by combining brokerage precision with advocacy compassion. They reduce administrative stress, deliver personalized insurance advisory services, and ensure clients have coverage that truly meets their needs, allowing them to focus on what matters most.
Insurance Brokerage & Consultation
- Serve as a licensed broker specializing in private insurance, Medicare, and small business health plans.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on health plans, benefits structures, network considerations, and plan strategy from a broker perspective.
- Support advocacy clients in selecting and recommending high-value benefits.
- Evaluate and recommend individual and family health insurance coverage based on client needs, risk factors, and financial considerations.
- Stay current on multistate private insurance markets, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic consultation to ensure clients secure the most advantageous coverage available.
Collaborative Case Management
- Partner closely with Concierge Advocates to deliver seamless support.
- Participate in kickoff meetings and insurance consultation review meetings.
- Use Emry’s proprietary case management tools to maintain complete, organized documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Health Insurance Producer License and Medicare certification with experience working as a licensed health insurance broker or benefits consultant.
- 5+ years of experience in Health insurance brokerage, Medicare, and ACA marketplace navigation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate complex insurance concepts into clear guidance for non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated success serving high-net-worth or executive clientele.
- Proficiency with online applications, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Demonstrated curiosity and openness to learning new technologies and innovative solutions, including AI tools.
